Coleen Rooney has shared photos from her lavish 40th birthday party held at her Cheshire mansion earlier this month. The event, organised by Julie Perry Events, took place in a specially-erected marquee on the grounds of the £20 million home near Knutsford.
The party featured a giant white birthday cake with red cherries, pink floral displays, and a light arch reading 'Coleen's 40th'. Guests included former Manchester United teammates such as Darron Gibson, Darren Fletcher, Phil Bardsley, and Phil Jones, along with their wives. Current Man United boss Michael Carrick also attended with his wife Lisa.
Irish singer Dermot Kennedy performed an acoustic set of his hits and covers, including the Bee Gees' 'To Love Somebody'. Coleen was joined by her husband Wayne and their four sons: Kai, 16, Klay, 12, Kit, 10, and Cass, 8.
The party is expected to feature in a new Disney documentary about Coleen. Event organiser Julie Perry, who also planned the couple's 2008 wedding in Italy, described the celebration as 'classy and beautiful'.
