I'm A Celeb Star's Shock Exit Leaves Campmates in Tears Before Final
I'm A Celeb Star Quits Days Before Final, Campmates in Tears

In an exclusive revelation, a star from I'm A Celebrity South Africa has made a dramatic and unexpected exit from the camp, mere days before the final episode was scheduled to be filmed. The sudden departure has left their fellow contestants in floods of tears, creating a highly emotional atmosphere within the group.

Emotional Announcement Rocks the Camp

The shocking incident unfolds during tonight's episode, as one contestant is compelled to quit the show on medical grounds. The news comes as a total surprise to the entire camp, sparking widespread distress and numerous tears among the participants.

At the start of a new day, an emotional campmate gathers everyone together and delivers the heartbreaking news. They reveal, "I've just got something to tell you all," before explaining, "I didn't feel very well this morning... and the medics have advised I can't return to camp. I've got to go home." With tears visibly in their eyes, they add, "I don't want to go. I'm absolutely gutted. I wanted to finish."

Campmates React with Shock and Support

The other contestants immediately offer hugs and support to the departing star, but the exit leaves everyone in a state of profound shock. While the identity of the celebrity who has left is known, it is being kept anonymous to allow fans to experience the full impact of the event as it plays out on ITV tonight.

This unplanned departure reduces the number of contestants to eight, all of whom are now vying to be crowned a 'legend' in the live final scheduled for Friday. The remaining stars will participate in a trial known as the Rancid Run, which was previewed on Monday night's show and involves them competing in pairs.

Further Evictions Expected This Week

Additional evictions are anticipated throughout the week, ultimately leaving only four celebrities to battle for victory in the final. This is not the first time a contestant has exited the series on medical grounds; similar incidents have occurred in the Australian version of the show in the past.

Recent evictions include David Haye and Gemma Collins, who were removed from the camp on Monday night. Last week, comedian Seann Walsh became the first celebrity to leave the South Africa series.

Controversy Surrounds David Haye's Comments

This year's All Stars instalment has been marked by controversy, particularly surrounding former boxer David Haye. He faced criticism for his language within the camp, including referring to his girlfriend Sian as an "ugly duckling," which elicited shocked reactions from his campmates. Although he described Sian as "lovely," he added that she "has the personality of a proper ugly bird."

Haye elaborated, "Most ugly girls realise they've gotta have a personality and the banter to tell jokes and s**t, so people overlook the fact that they're not aesthetically amazing straight away. It's called ugly duckling syndrome, where girls are ugly when they start off, then they get pretty as they get older, but they've still got the personality of when they were ugly."

Additionally, Haye was slammed for his remarks towards Waterloo Road star Adam Thomas, who declined to participate in a Bushtucker Trial due to dehydration and low energy from his autoimmune disease. Haye called Adam "useless" and stated he didn't "give a s**t" if he was unwell. After his exit, Haye commented that there was "no bad blood" on his side towards Adam, explaining his perspective from his boxing background.

Haye said, "I've been immersed in tough boxing gyms since I was ten years old. Literally fighting daily, much bigger men than myself, pushing myself to the limits, physically and mentally. I won the world heavyweight championship against a seven-foot Russian giant. So when a grown man tells me that a fun TV show - where we're being paid handsomely every single day - is the hardest thing he's ever been through, it's just not a frequency I recognise."

I'm A Celebrity continues on ITV and ITVX tonight at 9pm.
