Two additional suspects have been arrested in connection with a bar brawl that allegedly involved social media personality Jack Kay, known as Ibiza Final Boss. The incident occurred at The Runhead pub in Ryton, Gateshead, in March, when four men reportedly chased another man into the premises and assaulted him.
Police attended the scene but found no one present. A man in his 20s later reported a minor injury, identified as 26-year-old Jack Kay. Kay gained fame last summer after a video of him dancing in Ibiza went viral, leading to a five-figure deal with fashion retailer boohooMAN and reportedly earning £60,000 a day on appearance tours.
Northumbria Police confirmed that two men, both aged 25, have been held on suspicion of violent disorder and affray. A 24-year-old man was previously arrested. Police believe those involved are known to each other and there is no wider risk to the public.
Kay, a builder from Lemington, Newcastle, has a young daughter and has spoken about using his earnings to provide for her. He reportedly made £800,000 weeks after his viral video, as revealed in a Channel 4 documentary.
