Qatar Airways Flight Diverted After Wife Discovers Husband's Affair Mid-Air

A Qatar Airways flight from Doha to Bali was forced to make an unscheduled landing in Chennai, India, after a woman used her sleeping husband's thumbprint to unlock his phone and discovered he was having an affair.

The incident occurred on flight QR-962, which was carrying the couple and their child. Upon learning of her husband's infidelity, the woman reportedly became so agitated that cabin crew were unable to restore order, prompting the captain to divert the aircraft.

According to Indian authorities, the family was offloaded in Chennai and taken to a detention centre as they did not have Indian visas. They were later put on a Batik Air flight to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, departing at 10.30pm local time.
