Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas has reacted to his character Warren Fox seeming to shoot his own brother Jenson dead on the Channel 4 soap, as he teased 'twists and turns'.
Jenson really is dead, says Jamie Lomas
Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, Jamie spilled the truth behind Jenson's apparent death and who Warren really shot. Of course, Jamie could be leading us down the wrong path to cover up a big twist at play.
After all, not everyone is convinced Jenson died. Some fans think Warren shot someone else by mistake after a major clue in what could have been Jenson's final scenes.
What led to the shooting?
Jenson had been kidnapped previously by Gemma and some thugs. He got away, but as he tried to get to the hospital to help his nephew Sebastian, who needed a bone marrow donor, he was seemingly captured once more.
So when Warren was given the location of his brother and found him tied to a chair, he took revenge. Warren was under the impression dodgy Jenson was about to screw him over. Warren's son Sebastian is battling leukaemia, and Jenson was a donor match.
Warren had no idea what Jenson was really up to and how he fought to help Warren's son. So when Warren found Jenson, he fumed at him for letting his son down and pulled out a gun.
As Jenson screamed and moved around, he couldn't speak as he had something over his mouth and a bag over his head. Warren ignored him though, and a phone call revealed Sebastian's uncle Dodger was also a match.
In that moment Warren decided he no longer needed Jenson, and he raised his gun. Prince McQueen walked in and tried to stop Warren, even claiming he'd do it. Prince asked Warren if he was sure about this, before deciding he could not go ahead with it. Warren then shot Jenson and fled, with Jenson thought to now have died.
Jamie's confirmation and hints of fallout
Jamie appeared to confirm Jenson's fate, telling us: 'He sees Jenson tied to the chair. Just as he's about to shoot him, Prince comes in. Prince has got his own agenda with Warren. It takes a few twists and turns but ultimately, Warren ends up shooting Jenson.'
Hinting it is in fact Jenson who is dead, Jamie told us of the fallout: 'Warren doesn't revel in killing people. He does it because he thinks it's the right thing to do. He never grew up in a family and he does what he does to survive. At that time, Jenson had let his son down and risked his life. He just says unlucky for you, your dead. But he finds out Jenson... it wasn't his fault he got involved in all this, and he finds a letter, and he feels a bit bad for that.'
Fan theories of a twist
But some fans cannot shake the feeling it's all a cover-up, and the cast are in on it. Fans think it was not Jenson sat on the chair, and that someone else has been shot.
There's also what Prince said as he went over to Jenson, who he made a point of identifying as being the person on the chair. He said 'are you sure about this' - but what if he wasn't talking to Warren? What if it was aimed at Jenson, and the pair are in cahoots to fake his death? After all, Prince is out to get Warren who he blames for his twin brother Hunter's death years earlier.
