Hollyoaks actor Ben Ryan Davies has announced the arrival of his first child, a baby boy, with partner Lottie. The couple shared the joyful news on social media, posting heartwarming photos of their new family and revealing their son's name.

The actor, best known for his role as the villainous Nick Savage on the Channel 4 soap, took to Instagram this week to celebrate the birth. He reposted a sweet snapshot originally shared on Lottie's account, which showed the beaming new parents on a festive day out. A second photo featured Lottie lovingly cradling their newborn son.
In the caption, Lottie disclosed the baby's name, writing: "And Jensen was asleep for the whole thing." The couple had first announced they were expecting in July 2024, sharing a sonogram picture with the caption: "Big news! Incoming October 2024!"
From On-Screen Villain to Real-Life Dad
Ben Ryan Davies joined the cast of Hollyoaks in 2016, portraying the controversial character Nick Savage. His storylines included the harrowing rape of Ellie Nightingale and the sexual assault of his girlfriend, Holly Cunningham, for which his character was eventually sent to prison. Davies left the soap in 2017 after receiving critical acclaim, including a British Soap Award nomination for the challenging role.
Prior to his time in Chester, Davies appeared on the BBC school drama Waterloo Road, playing student Ronan Burley for two years across 36 episodes. His career since leaving Hollyoaks has included guest spots in Casualty and Father Brown.
Looking to the Future
The actor and Lottie confirmed their relationship publicly in April 2024, after getting together the previous October. Davies marked the occasion on Instagram, posting: "What an amazing 6 months. I’m so excited for our future together. You’ve changed my life and I’m so happy."
Professionally, Davies is currently treading the boards. According to his Instagram, he is starring in The Further Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan at the Forum Theatre in Billingham, performing a month-long schedule of shows.
