Express readers have been debating whether they would rather watch Holly Willoughby's new lifestyle series Together or Meghan Markle's Netflix show With Love, Meghan.
Holly Willoughby's Return
Holly Willoughby launched her online lifestyle channel Together on YouTube on July 28, with actor Stanley Tucci as her first guest. The former This Morning host, freed from ITV regulations, presented a more relaxed show featuring alcohol, swearing, and innuendos. Tucci took over much of the episode, directing Willoughby on pasta preparation, stepping in when she struggled to slice a courgette, and asking his own questions.
Future guests include Emma Bunton, Katherine Ryan, and Nicole Appleton.
Comparisons to Meghan Markle's Show
Many viewers likened Together to Meghan Markle's Netflix lifestyle series With Love, Meghan, which premiered in 2025. The Duchess's show received mixed reviews but attracted 2.6 million views in its first week.
Together is produced by Hungry Bear Media, run by Willoughby's husband Dan Baldwin, and will release two episodes per week under five pillars: Talk Together, Cook Together, Look Good Together, Better Together, and Hang Out Together. Tech health provider Voy is a founding brand partner.
Willoughby said: “I’m so proud of the work all the team who make Together have put into this exciting new project. We’ve had a lot of fun developing it and look forward to seeing what you think.”
Audience Reactions
Complaints included the 50-minute runtime being too long, shaky camera shots, and a lack of episode introduction. In contrast, With Love, Meghan was filmed at Markle's Montecito estate (valued at $8 million/£6 million) and featured gardening, floral arranging, and DIY crafts.
Willoughby's venture follows the axing of Dancing on Ice and cancellation of Celebrity Bear Hunt after one season. It remains uncertain whether Together will return for a second series.
When Willoughby launched her YouTube channel two weeks ago, it had 8,000 subscribers. One day after the first episode aired, the count rose to 10,900.
