Holly Willoughby's lavish setup for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! has come under fire amid the UK's cost of living crisis. The presenter reportedly cost ITV bosses £63,000 in fees alone, with her contract stipulating that her husband Dan Baldwin and three children could join her in Australia.
The Willoughby family is staying in a luxury condo at the Palazzo Versace Hotel, costing £1,770 per night, for nearly five weeks. ITV has also provided Holly with a private driver, personal security, and flown out her personal stylist and makeup artist to ensure she looks camera-ready.
Her children—Harry, nine; Belle, seven; and Chester, four—have been taken out of school and nursery, with a private tutor arranged for the eldest two. Meanwhile, Holly's husband Dan can only stay briefly before returning to work, and her parents have flown out to help with childcare.
The opulent arrangements have drawn criticism as many Britons struggle with rising living costs. A spokesperson for ITV declined to comment on the expenses.
