Gordon Ramsay on Keeping Holly 'Calm' at Wedding Amid Peaty Family Feud

Gordon Ramsay has revealed how he kept his daughter Holly's nerves in check ahead of her wedding to Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty. The 26-year-old influencer married Peaty, 31, in a star-studded ceremony at Bath Abbey on Saturday, December 27.

The celebrations were overshadowed by reports of a fallout between the groom and his family, with Peaty's mother Caroline reportedly 'banned' from attending. Amid the bitter fallout, Ramsay reflected on keeping Holly 'calm and relaxed' before walking her down the aisle.

The TV chef, 59, shared a carousel of photos from the big day, including one of them holding hands in a Rolls-Royce Phantom on the way to the church. 'One of the most exciting car journeys ever in a father's life is on the way to the Church with your beautiful daughter, incredible conversations and helping her to stay calm and relaxed ahead of our walk down the aisle,' he wrote.

Ramsay also supported the couple after Peaty shared a video of his wedding speech, in which he said he would 'always choose' his bride. The chef commented: 'Beautiful words @adamramsaypeaty @hollyramsaypeaty True Love, congratulations love you both so much Dad.'

It is believed only Peaty's sister Bethany, who served as a bridesmaid, was at the wedding. Reports of a feud first emerged when his mother Caroline did not attend Holly's hen do at Soho Farmhouse. Peaty's brother James was arrested in November over allegations he sent threatening messages to his brother during his stag do in Budapest.

Ramsay reportedly waded into the family drama by making a dig at Peaty's parents during his wedding speech, according to The Sun. He reportedly said: 'Shame you don't have the same,' referring to Peaty's absent parents. Ahead of the ceremony, Caroline Peaty told the Daily Mail: 'I don't think they understand how much they have hurt me; it's as if they have cut my heart out.'
