Geordie Shore star Holly Hagan has revealed her severely blistered face after undergoing an 'extremely painful' CO2 laser procedure to treat acne scars. The 26-year-old will need to stay at home for up to ten days while her skin heals.
Taking to her Instagram story, Hagan answered fans' questions about the treatment. She explained that her main reasons were scarring from spots, pigmentation, and sun damage. 'It is a really invasive treatment and I'm going to have to be off for ten days with it,' she said.
Hagan admitted the procedure was more painful than expected, despite numbing creams and injections. 'I still felt everything. I won't lie it was extremely painful for me,' she said. She showed fans her swollen eyes but refused to reveal her full face.
The Fully Ablative CO2 laser resurfacing treatment costs around £2,775 per session and is described as the most powerful skin rejuvenation technique available. Hagan praised her doctor and staff for their care. She expects to wear make-up again after the ten-day recovery period.
