Former Geordie Shore star Holly Hagan has launched a scathing attack on her old MTV show, accusing the cast of creating "fake" drama purely for the cameras.
In a candid interview, Hagan didn’t hold back, claiming that much of the explosive arguments and wild antics viewers see are heavily exaggerated – or even entirely scripted – to boost ratings.
"It’s All Manufactured"
The reality TV veteran, who appeared on the show for seven years, insisted that producers manipulate situations to create conflict. "People think it’s real, but it’s not," she said. "They’ll stir things up behind the scenes just to get a reaction."
Hagan also took aim at certain cast members, suggesting some play up their personalities purely for screen time. "You can always tell who’s putting it on," she added.
No Regrets – But Moving On
Despite her criticisms, Hagan admitted she doesn’t regret her time on the show, which launched her career. However, she’s now focused on building her own businesses and stepping away from the reality TV circus.
Fans of Geordie Shore have been left divided by her claims, with some agreeing that the drama feels staged, while others argue it’s all part of the entertainment.
