How I Met Your Mother stars reunite nearly a decade after finale

David Henrie and Josh Radnor, stars of the sitcom How I Met Your Mother, have reunited almost ten years after the show's finale aired. Henrie shared a photograph of the pair on Instagram, captioned: 'Found my father. Finally.'

The caption references Henrie's role as Luke, the future son of Radnor's character Ted Mosby, in the long-running series. The show, which ran for nine seasons, was framed around Ted telling his children the story of how he met their mother.

Fans reacted with delight to the reunion. One commented: 'David from experience pls don't let him sit you down for another story, unless you got 9 years.' Another joked: 'Has he told you about meeting your mother yet? I'm sure it's a very short and to the point story.'

The original series also starred Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, Neil Patrick Harris, Alyson Hannigan and Cristin Milioti. A spin-off, How I Met Your Father, aired in 2022 but was cancelled after two seasons.

Henrie, known for Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place, will next appear as a young Ronald Reagan in the biopic Reagan. Radnor recently featured in the miniseries Fleischman Is in Trouble.
