Countryfile star Helen Skelton showcased her toned physique in a black swimsuit while holidaying in the Lake District with her children on Monday. The 39-year-old posted an Instagram photo of herself in the one-piece, gazing across the water as her kids enjoyed paddle-boarding.
Helen, recently confirmed as a contestant on the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing, captioned the post: 'Just like that the eldest two are old enough to pinch my board…. Life jackets and eyes on at all times.' Fans praised her appearance, with comments including 'Wow Helen your looking fab' and 'Looking very nice and toned there Helen!'.
However, her Strictly participation has sparked controversy after a resurfaced video showed her boasting about winning the 2000 Ken Dodd Tap Dancing Award, despite recently claiming she cannot dance. On BBC Radio 5 Live, she said: 'People keep saying, Can you dance? and I say, No, because isn't it the point to learn to dance?' Yet in a 2016 interview with The Sun, she stated: 'Not a lot of people know this, but I'm very good at tap dancing.'
Helen has previously appeared on Strictly in the 2012 Christmas Special, partnering Artem Chigvintsev and scoring 37 out of 40 for a Jive to Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas (Is You)'. The new series begins on September 9, with a launch on September 7.
