Helen George has revealed her daughter's heartbreaking wish for her after her recent split. The Call The Midwife actress, 42, recently split from property marketing agency boss Dan Innes, after they started dating in March 2025. Dan soon moved into the home she shares with her two children at the start of this year but they have since split.
Admitting it was a "challenging" time for her, she explained how in the wake of her split from Dan, there had been tears, describing the whole break up as "pretty s**t". Helen - who has Lark, eight, and Wren, four, with her ex-partner and co-star Jack Ashton - said she had been relying on her kids in the wake of the break up.
Manifestation in the Countryside
Speaking on her Mystic Mates podcast, she said: "I do keep seeing the angel numbers, and I always feel a bit ridiculous saying that. But the 1111, I've been seeing an awful lot come up on my phone, and then a new one that I keep getting is 2020, and I looked that up because I've not really seen that on my phone before." It was something like trust the divine intervention. Trust what's being thrown and a new path. Because there's been so much going on in my personal life, but everything else is as normal with me. I feel like friends are good, my children are good, work's good.
Admitting there has been stuff going on behind the scenes, she said she has been leaning on her children more, adding that her daughter had the most heartbreaking wish for her. "I've had this real need to just get into nature with my children," she explained, " I took them away to the countryside and it was just in the middle of nowhere, just me and the two girls. We were just in nature and just with no distractions and we decided that we were gonna do a few manifestation things."
Helen then revealed the wishes her daughters had, and her eldest was quite telling. She said: "Lark, my youngest, was saying, 'I want a home of rainbows and unicorns,' and it was so sweet. Wren was like, 'I want mummy to find calm and happiness and feel settled.'"
Tarot Reading and Challenges
In the previous podcast, Helen's friend Yvette gave her a tarot reading and said the actress had some "challenges ahead" that could "make her grow". Helen retorted: "Babe, don't you think I've had enough challenges?" But Yvette reassured her, adding : "I do feel like with you, Hels, I feel like you're getting your power back. I feel like you're such a strong, powerful, amazing woman, and sometimes, can I say, you lose that power a little bit. And we lose you, and we go, 'we've lost Hels, but she'll come back.' And then you do come back."
