Helen Flanagan's five-year-old son Charlie has been taken to hospital, with his father, footballer Scott Sinclair, sharing a picture of the youngster in a hospital bed wearing an oxygen mask.
The 36-year-old actress has three children with her ex-partner Scott Sinclair: Matilda, 11, Delilah, eight, and five-year-old Charlie. On Wednesday, Scott took to social media to post pictures of their youngest child in hospital, captioning the post: "My little solider," followed by a red heart emoji.
No details have been given about what led to Charlie's hospital admission. Helen, best known for playing Rosie Webster on the ITV soap Coronation Street and for appearing on I'm A Celebrity, has not posted anything or spoken publicly about the incident.
Family Background
Helen last appeared on the cobbles in 2018. She was engaged to Scott, but the couple called off their engagement in October 2022, more than 13 years after they first got together.
Just weeks ago, Helen took to social media to talk about the "mum guilt" she feels as she continues to navigate co-parenting alongside her busy showbiz career. She wrote: "Tired Mum. Overstimulated. Sick of the arguing. No words for how much I love them. Due my period. Feel like I've been the Wicked Witch of the West."
"Mum guilt. Love them so much. Not been able to get back to any of work email or [Whatsapps] or my friends," she added, signing off with a melting face emoji.
Future Relationship Hopes
The TV star recently revealed that she hoped her next relationship would be with the man who would go on to become her husband. Speaking on Lewis Nicholls' Life Stories podcast, she said: "I think it will be the real thing. I will choose to protect it and I will keep that private. I will probably say who that person is, but I will want to protect it. I will want to keep it private."
She continued: "I'll want to keep it really special, because I kind of feel like everybody's always got something to say. My next relationship I have I think will be my husband, because I won't be wasting my time, really. I will want to choose to protect it, definitely."
Helen previously talked about how she finally ended the relationship with the footballer after they struggled to make it work. Speaking to The Sun, she said: "Me and Scott really loved each other, but we were always quietly breaking up and then getting back together, so it had been a long time coming."
