Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has revealed painful bruising around her eyes following a cosmetic procedure. The actress, known for playing Rosie Webster, shared images on social media showing the discolouration.
The 32-year-old underwent polynucleotide facial surgery, a treatment that uses DNA fragments to rejuvenate the skin. While it promises a youthful complexion, it can initially cause redness, swelling and bruising at the injection sites.
Flanagan has been open about her cosmetic enhancements. In 2022, she discussed a breast augmentation after breastfeeding three children, saying it helped restore her confidence. She also had Botox in 2019, admitting she wanted to look fresher after having her daughter Delilah.
Earlier this month, Flanagan recounted being verbally abused on the Tube for standing up to a man harassing a woman. The man insulted her appearance, commenting on the amount of Botox in her forehead.
