Helen Flanagan Reveals Feud with Coronation Street Co-Star Ryan Thomas

Former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan has admitted to a fiery behind-the-scenes row with co-star Ryan Thomas, telling him to “f*** off” during a heated argument. In her new book, Head & Heart, Flanagan, who played Rosie Webster, reveals the tensions that simmered between her and Thomas, who portrayed Jason Grimshaw on the ITV soap.

Flanagan claims that Thomas was often “dead grumpy in the mornings” and “never knew his lines,” leading to frequent clashes on set. She writes that Thomas once told her outright that he did not like her, prompting her to tell him to “f*** off,” acknowledging that she “probably needed to lighten up a little bit.”

Despite the past friction, Flanagan notes that their relationship has improved over the years. She says they have “moved in similar circles and become quite good friends,” and she now has “a lot of time for Ryan and his brothers, Adam and Scott.”

In addition to the feud, Flanagan’s book reveals another surprising connection: she and co-star Brooke Vincent both dated Manchester City youth player Reece Wabara. Flanagan describes a brief fling with Wabara before he later dated Vincent, calling it “too funny” that they ended up with the same man.
