Former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan has displayed bruising around her eye following a cosmetic procedure. The star, known for playing Rosie Webster, shared the image on social media, revealing the aftermath of her latest treatment.
Flanagan underwent polynucleotide facial surgery, a type of cosmetic procedure that uses DNA fragments to rejuvenate the skin. While it aims to provide a youthful complexion, it can initially cause redness, swelling, and bruising at the injection sites.
The actress has been open about her cosmetic enhancements. In 2022, she discussed having a breast augmentation after breastfeeding three children, saying it helped restore her confidence. She also had Botox in 2019, citing a desire to feel fresher after having her daughter Delilah.
Recently, Flanagan recalled an incident on the London Underground where she was verbally abused after standing up for a woman who was being harassed. The man mocked her appearance, commenting on her Botox.
