Helen Flanagan has responded to critics by sharing a throwback photograph of herself in a pink bikini during a recent trip to Sicily. The former Coronation Street star, 31, took to Instagram to showcase her post-baby figure in the makeup-free snap, which was part of a promotional campaign for high-street brand Primark.
The actress posed on a terrace in the Italian sunshine, wearing her hair tied back and dark pointed sunglasses. She captioned the image: 'Throwback to being in the Italian sunshine (Bikini @primark #presstrip #ad).' The post was met with admiration from fans, with one commenting, 'Absolutely Naturally Stunning,' and another writing, 'Stunning Helen xxx.'
Flanagan was joined on the trip by influencers Georgia-Millie Feilder, Liana Marisa, and Emily Lucy Racjh. The group stayed at the Grand Hotel San Pietro, enjoying a balcony overlooking the pool, and took part in activities such as driving a vintage Fiat 500 around Taormina.
The getaway comes shortly after Flanagan visited Dubai with her fiancé, footballer Scott Sinclair, and their three children: Matilda, six, Delilah, three, and Charlie, one. The couple have been together since 2009 and became engaged in May 2018. Flanagan recently opened up about the challenges of motherhood, admitting on Instagram that she 'hates herself' for shouting at her children.
