Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has shared a series of photos from a family day out at Formby Beach in Liverpool with her new boyfriend, footballer Robbie Talbot. The 34-year-old actress posted the images on Instagram on Saturday, 12 October, showing herself, Talbot, and her three children enjoying the seaside.
In the snaps, Flanagan is seen cuddling her son Charlie, three, and embracing Talbot, 44. She wore a tiger print fleece, black jeans, and New Balance trainers, with her hair tied up in a bun and a makeup-free look. Talbot wore a blue body warmer, navy trousers, and white trainers.
The photos also captured Talbot bonding with Flanagan's children – Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and Charlie – whom she co-parents with ex-partner Scott Sinclair. In one playful shot, Talbot holds hands with Matilda and Delilah as they kick their legs up. Another shows him hugging Matilda, both smiling.
Flanagan captioned the post: 'Lovely day with my bf and my babies and autumn the fox as Delilah got star of the week.' Followers praised the family outing, with one commenting: 'Looks like a proper family day.' Another wrote: 'He's a keeper looks like the kids get on well with him which is a big plus.'
Flanagan met Talbot at Alderley Edge in February, shortly before she signed up for E4's Celebs Go Dating. Despite her connection with Talbot, she continued with the show, even kissing potential suitors. Talbot said: 'We weren't serious at that point, we were just dating. And we communicated the whole way through.'
Eight months on, the couple have been enjoying family life, including with Talbot's children from a previous relationship. Flanagan praised Talbot: 'I've never met anyone like him. He's not only a lovely man, but he's really, really funny.' She also admitted to feeling broody, despite difficult pregnancies with hyperemesis gravidarum.
