Helen Flanagan 'stressed' over daughter's skin issue

Helen Flanagan has revealed she is 'really stressed' as she seeks advice from followers about her 11-year-old daughter Matilda's skin issue. The former Coronation Street star, 35, shared that her life is 'manic' and she recently took Matilda to the doctors over skin discolouration that appears in the sun.

Helen's plea for foundation recommendations

On social media, Helen explained: "So it's back to everything being manic, even though I'm really stressed with the kids, I'm so much better because I don't have time to think when I'm with the kids because all I get is 'Mum, mum, mum!' I don't have time to think about myself because I'm so busy thinking about the kids. And I love that."

She added: "Also, my little girl has basically...it's not permanent, apparently it goes, but she's had...in the sun basically there's more discoloration in her skin. I took her to the doctors, I don't know the correct name of it, but it is something that actually goes. But she's getting more self-conscious of it and I wondered if anyone could recommend a good foundation."

Co-parenting and future relationship hopes

Helen has three children with former partner Scott Sinclair, whom she was with from 2009 until 2022. They now co-parent Matilda, Delilah, 8, and Charlie, 5. Helen is currently single and recently revealed she hopes her next relationship will be with her future husband.

Speaking on Lewis Nicholls' Life Stories podcast, she said: "I do feel that when I do next have my next relationship, and I think that when I have my next relationship, I think it will be my husband." She added: "I think it will be the real thing. I will choose to protect it and I will keep that private. I will probably say who that person is, but I will want to protect it. I will want to keep it private."

Candid posts on love and sex life

Recently, Helen shared candid thoughts on social media about love and sex, saying: "When it comes to sex I'm not a casual girl - I'm a lover girl/wifey and I do get attracted. I think guys that ghost girls after sleeping with them are big rat fats lol." She also described her ideal partner: "I go for someone that I find exciting. I go for a soul connection. Someone that makes me feel understood. I look for the male version of me."
