Helen Flanagan has sold her six-bedroom family home in Bolton, Lancashire, more than a year after putting it on the market, after slashing the price by over £550,000.
The former Coronation Street star, 35, initially listed the property for £1.5 million, but reduced it to £1.195 million after just four weeks. It was later cut again to £995,000, and finally sold in May for £945,000.
Flanagan had lived in the house with her ex-partner, footballer Scott Sinclair, and their three children. She said she was heartbroken by Sinclair's decision to sell, describing it as their 'forever' home. 'His decision to sell the family home has broken my heart,' she told The Mirror.
The actress reportedly spent £150,000 of her own money on renovations. She expressed concerns about financial security, saying she has to 'work constantly to make ends meet' despite Sinclair being a 'wealthy guy'.
Sources claimed Sinclair wanted to sell the mansion to release funds, but had not found alternative accommodation for Flanagan and the children. He reportedly offered to buy a four-bedroom home in her name but wanted to stop maintenance payments.
