Helen Flanagan hits back at mum-shamers in corset top

Helen Flanagan has defended her plunging corset top and joked she has never had to buy a drink because of her sexy outfits.

The former Coronation Street star filmed herself in the low-cut lace garment from inside a taxi and added a sound that could be heard saying: "And sometimes, the outfit is t***y, sometimes the outfit is just breast. You understand what I’m saying?"

Defending her style

Flanagan hit back at anybody willing to criticise her look in the caption, which read: "You're a mum you shouldn’t dress like that... Never bought a drink in my life [laughing emoji]."

The Celebs Go Dating star has been mum-shamed in the past after posting sexy outfits such as lingerie on social media, but she has also received support from fans who fought her corner against critics.

Personal life

Helen shares three children with her ex Scott Sinclair: Matilda, ten, Delilah, seven, and Charlie, four. They split in 2022 after 13 years together. She recently moved out of the family home they shared; the house was in the footballer's name, but he let Helen and their children live there after the split.

The mum-of-three, who split from ex Robbie Talbot last year, opened up about being single for the past year. She said: "The only time I miss having a boyfriend is when I don't have my kids. I am more of a relationship girl.

"I turn 36 next week and I've done a whole year of being single. I don't think it's a bad thing to be this way I think it's only natural to want connection. I don't want to settle, though, unless it's right so if it's not I'd rather be on my own."

She added: "I'm not someone who really likes being on their own in general and that's ok. If I'm not with my kids I like to be with my close friends or my family."
