Heather Graham has shared new details about her relationship with the late Heath Ledger, describing the actor as “kind of amazing” and revealing she was “very in love” with him during their time together. The 55-year-old actress spoke on Kristin Davis’s podcast ‘Are You a Charlotte?’ on Monday, reflecting on a romance that began around 2000-2001 after the pair met in Prague while filming ‘A Knight’s Tale’ and ‘From Hell’ respectively.
Davis recalled seeing Graham and Ledger together at a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in Los Angeles more than two decades ago, noting their obvious chemistry. “You two were this ray of light … you were giggling and touching each other,” she said. Graham confirmed the memory, adding that she and Ledger used to watch ‘Sex and the City’ together, and that he enjoyed it. “He was like, ‘I can relate to this,’” she said.
Graham expressed pride in having dated the Australian actor, who died in 2008 at age 28. “I wish he was still alive … some of these really bright lights don’t get to live so long,” she said. She revealed she still has photographs from their relationship but noted she would need permission from Ledger’s family to make a photo album. In a previous 2023 interview with TODAY, Graham said Ledger “brought so much joy” into her life and described him as a “magical person”.
