Harvey Price, the son of Katie Price, has turned 18 after years of facing horrific online abuse due to his disabilities. Harvey, who is visually impaired, autistic and suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome, has been a frequent target of trolls. Despite the challenges, he has repeatedly shown courage in standing up to bullies.
In a memorable moment from May 2016, Harvey appeared on Loose Women with his mother and swore live on air when asked what he says to internet trolls. The panel apologised, but viewers and celebrities praised Harvey for his humour and bravery. Piers Morgan, also a guest, defended Harvey, urging trolls to target him instead.
Katie Price has actively fought against online abuse, naming and shaming trolls and even offering to meet them to explain the impact of their words. She launched a petition for Harvey's Law, which successfully made online abuse a specific criminal offence. However, the battle continues as Harvey still faces vile messages.
Reflecting on his journey, Katie has described Harvey as inspirational. The family continues to advocate for stricter measures to protect vulnerable individuals from online cruelty.
