Harry Styles has wrapped up his record-breaking run at Wembley Stadium, crediting his One Direction bandmates during the final show. The 32-year-old former One Direction star performed 11 nights at the London venue, breaking records previously held by Coldplay and Taylor Swift.
Emotional Tribute to Bandmates
Speaking to the approximately 80,000 fans on Saturday night, Styles paused to acknowledge his former bandmates. "I wouldn't be on this stage if it wasn't for four friends of mine that were a massive part of this journey," he said. "I wanna thank Niall, Louis, Zayn and my dear friend Liam for these nights and everything that I learned in this time, the friendship, everything… none of this would be possible, I wouldn't be here without you, thank you so much."
Styles also reflected on his journey, noting that 16 years ago he was put into a band that changed his life just outside Wembley Stadium, where The X Factor was filmed. "As I drive through this area, I'm flooded with memories from that time. And every time I have the privilege of returning to Wembley, it's meant an incredibly great deal to me. Thank you so much."
Record-Breaking Residency
Styles' Together, Together tour residency at Wembley Stadium set new records. He surpassed Coldplay's 10-night run from the previous summer to achieve the most performances by any artist in a single year at the venue. Additionally, he now holds the record for most concerts by a solo artist during a single concert run in the stadium's history, exceeding the eight nights set by Taylor Swift in 2024.
Originally announced as a six-night run, significant demand led to the addition of six more shows for the UK leg of the tour. Wembley Stadium's official social media accounts posted ahead of the final show: "From the first night to the twelfth. Tonight marks the final show of Harry Styles' Together, Together tour at Wembley Stadium. A record-breaking run. 12 nights we'll never forget. Let's make the final night one to remember."
