Harry Styles Superfans Travel 4,000 Miles for Wembley Show

Harry Styles superfans have traveled thousands of miles and even gotten tattoos dedicated to the singer to attend his opening night at London's Wembley Stadium. The former One Direction star is performing a 12-night residency at the iconic venue.

Fans Travel from Far and Wide

Karina journeyed over 1,500 miles from central Romania to see the show. She revealed that her savings account is named 'Harry Styles' and that she had been saving specifically for this trip. Although she declined to disclose the exact amount spent, she admitted it was a significant expense. Karina proudly showed off three tattoos dedicated to the singer: a tattoo of Harry's home with a quote from his hit song 'Fine Line', a grumpy bear from his Gucci collaboration, and a sunflower. She got her first tattoo of Harry's house after seeing him perform in France and is already planning her next one.

Another superfan, KK, 22, traveled 3,900 miles from Indiana, USA, to be one of the first in line. She expressed her excitement after a long three-year wait without seeing Harry perform. KK shared that she has met some of her best friends while queuing for his concerts. One of those friends, Julian, a father from Seville, Spain, thanked Harry for bringing him and his daughter closer together.

Camping Overnight for a Spot

Chelsea, 17, and Ella, 22, had been camping in a tent below the stadium since the previous night to see the singer for the first time. Ella, who traveled from Liverpool, also has a cherry tattoo dedicated to Harry, inspired by his 2018 fan-favorite track. 'I just want to get close to Harry - I want to smell him!' Ella exclaimed, holding up her Harry Styles blanket. Speaking about support act Shania Twain, she joked, 'If Shania Twain says 'let's go girls', I'll feel like booting the door off the hinges!'

Mills, 18, from Gravesend, went viral on TikTok two years ago for sharing her Harry Styles-inspired toilet seat, which now hangs on her bedroom wall. Dressed in a disco-inspired outfit, Mills said she had already attended two shows on the Love on Tour tour. Despite her ticket costing 'quite a bit', she compared the price to seeing Michael Jackson. 'I'm not being funny, if you don't want to pay those prices, get 'nosebleed seats',' she said, referring to the cheapest seats. She explained that she has been on a mental health journey and that 'she had Harry' throughout.

Spending Big for Multiple Shows

Skye and Lauren, from Dartford, spent £1,800 to see the star perform six times in London, having been fans for 12 years. 'We've spent a lot of money to be here,' said Skye. 'I'm so anxious but so excited. We were already crying when I came out of the station so I don't know how I'm going to survive tonight!' She praised Harry's genuine kindness and welcoming energy. Lauren added that it took them five minutes to get down the stairs from the station due to excitement.

Tickets for the concert have been available for as little as £34 on the resale market, but some fans took a gamble and bought tickets on the day. Georgie purchased her ticket outside Wembley Park station for around £180 after being scammed three times. She stood with her friends Dani and Eve, having spent the entire morning trying to secure a ticket.

The 12-night residency at Wembley Stadium is expected to generate £200 million for the capital. After London, Styles will perform in Mexico City, New York, Melbourne, and Sydney.
