Harry Styles appeared to pay tribute to ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift during his Wembley Stadium concert on Friday night, the same day she married Travis Kelce in New York.
Surprise Song Choice
Each night on his tour, Harry performs a 'surprise song' that changes nightly. Fans were stunned when he chose 'Two Ghosts,' widely believed to be about Swift. The lyrics include 'same lips red, same eyes blue' — a nod to Swift's appearance — and the chorus sings 'we're not who we used to be, we're just two ghosts standing in the place of you and me.'
Fan Reactions
One fan posted on X: 'Harry Styles just sang Two Ghosts on Taylor Swift's wedding day. What is happening?!' Another wrote: 'Singing two ghosts during her wedding day is objectively funny. Harry Styles you MESSY B*TCH.' A third commented: 'She invited him, he sang it to show he's spiritually there with her.' Others joked about his motives, with one saying: 'With Zoe [his fiancée] in attendance. I'm kinda sick.' Another added: 'He wanted to be there to stop the wedding.'
Past Relationship
Styles and Swift dated briefly in 2012. In a 2014 interview, Swift discussed her song 'Style,' believed to be about Styles, saying: 'It's about those relationships that are never really done. You always kind of have that person, that one person who you feel might interrupt your wedding and be like, 'Don't do it cause we're not over yet.' ' The pair broke up in January 2013 after a heated argument during a Caribbean vacation.
Current Relationships
Styles is now engaged to Zoë Kravitz, 37, daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet. Kravitz, a friend of Swift, attended the wedding at Madison Square Garden. Swift married Travis Kelce, with a ceremony officiated by Adam Sandler and attended by 1,000 guests, including performances by Stevie Nicks, Paul McCartney, and Swift herself. Swift wore a Christian Dior couture gown by Jonathan Anderson, with Cartier jewellery and Christian Louboutin heels.
