The incident happened after a massive downpour and hailstorm hit the city ahead of the concert, which is thought to have left the stage floor slippery.
Health scare led to earlier cancellation
Just weeks earlier, Styles had cancelled a concert in Sao Paulo, Brazil, because of a health issue on the tour. The show, set for Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at MorumBIS, was called off hours before he was due to perform.
Live Nation Brasil confirmed: "We deeply regret to inform you that the Harry Styles show scheduled for Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at MorumBIS has been canceled due to a health issue on the tour."
Tickets for the cancelled show will be refunded through the same purchase channel, and email updates will be sent to ticket holders. The Friday show on July 24, 2026, is set to go ahead as scheduled, with ticket holders from the Tuesday show able to access an exclusive batch of tickets for the Friday show while supplies last.
The statement also said: "We have worked with the event venue to release as many tickets as possible for the Friday show, but please keep in mind that availability is extremely limited."
Tour background
The Together, Together tour marks Styles' third concert tour. It kicked off in May in Amsterdam with 10 dates, then headed to the UK, where he made history at Wembley Stadium with 12 consecutive performances.
