Harry and Meghan Slammed as 'Grifters' Over UK Visit

Sky News Australia presenter Danica De Giorgio has launched a scathing attack on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ahead of their planned return to the UK next month, branding the couple as 'Mr and Mrs. Grifter' and accusing them of using the trip to generate income.

Money-Making Motive Alleged

De Giorgio speculated that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are reportedly traveling with their children Archie and Lilibet for the first time in over four years, intend to 'bolster their coffers' through the visit. 'Obviously, [it] must be with a begging bowl...in hand, saying collection money, please? Tips? Got any money? Cash for comment? We're ready to go,' she said during her broadcast.

The presenter further suggested the couple would gather material for future projects, claiming they are 'probably armed with incognito recording and filming devices too. After all, they do need more material, don't they, to use for the interviews, the books, the Netflix specials, because all they know how to do is slander the royal family.'

Contradictions Highlighted

De Giorgio pointed to what she described as contradictory statements made by Prince Harry since he and Meghan stepped down as working royals in 2020. 'This is where Harry has quite a low IQ,' she opined. 'So one minute he doesn't like the UK, next he claims he loves his country. Then he says he doesn't love his country.' She noted that Harry had previously claimed it was impossible to bring his family to the UK, but now 'the low-IQ Duke is going back anyway.'

The couple's visit is expected to take place in July, marking the first time the entire Sussex family has been in Britain since 2022.

Reception and Motives Questioned

Reflecting on the potential reception, De Giorgio questioned whether the couple expects a warm welcome. 'Do they seriously think they're going to get a warm and bright and welcoming reception in Britain, let alone by the royal family, whom they betrayed when they went on their trash the monarchy spree, Netflix, the book, Oprah, the interviews, and the constant royal bashing, trying to upstage the monarchy,' she said.

She accused the couple of hypocrisy regarding privacy, stating: 'The way that they've said: Oh, we need privacy, we need privacy, we don't like the cameras, and they've done everything to be in the spotlight ever since moving to California.'

Financial Struggles and Declining Popularity

De Giorgio claimed the couple's ventures have been failures, leading to financial strain. 'They've run out of cash, because, of course, everything that these two touch has been an absolute failure, and they just expect Britain to move on and will forgive them,' she said, adding that their popularity in the US has sunk to new lows.

She concluded that the trip is not about reconciliation: 'This trip is not about offering an olive branch to the royal family or to Britain, for that matter. They need money, as always, and they need more fodder for them and material for interviews, for book deals, for Netflix specials, that's all. This is money, fame, and fortune. It's never been about family, it's always been about Harry and Meghan.'
