Gordon Ramsay's LA Home Targeted in Second Swatting Hoax

Armed police swarmed Gordon Ramsay's Los Angeles mansion on Tuesday evening after a hoax 911 call falsely reported an active shooter at the property. The Los Angeles Police Department responded to the call at 8.40pm, but found no signs of disturbance upon arrival.

Neighbours reported nothing unusual had occurred at the Bel Air home. Ramsay, 58, was not present during the incident. The LAPD has launched an investigation, but no arrests have been made.

This is the second time the celebrity chef has been targeted in a swatting hoax. Swatting involves tricking emergency services into sending armed units to an address under false pretences.

Earlier this year, Ramsay revealed that thieves had stolen hundreds of ornaments from his London restaurant Lucky Cat. Nearly 500 maneki-neko cat figurines, costing £4.50 each, were taken in one week, amounting to a loss of over £2,000. City of London Police said they had not received any reports of the theft.
