Gordon Ramsay Reveals £65,000 Wedding Flower Bill for Holly and Adam Peaty

Gordon Ramsay has disclosed the staggering cost of the floral arrangements for his daughter Holly Ramsay's wedding to Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty, revealing a bill of £65,000. The chef, 59, admitted he is paying the amount in monthly instalments as his funds are tied up in his new restaurant project, 22 Bishopsgate.

Speaking on Heart Breakfast with Jason King and Kelly Brook, Ramsay joked that half his tears on the day were due to the flower bill. He quipped: 'Only Holly would decorate the entire Bath cathedral with flowers. One of the most historic buildings. Anyone else on the planet, no.' The ceremony took place at Bath Abbey in December.

Ramsay described walking down the 65-metre aisle, mentally calculating the cost: 'Every time I walked past a pew I was walking up and down going "7 grand", "another 7 grand", 65 grand of flowers!' He added that he hasn't seen the full bill yet because he requested monthly payments to focus on his skyscraper restaurant.

Despite the light-hearted complaints, Ramsay insisted it was 'an amazing day' and that his speech was his favourite part. The revelation comes amid reports of a family feud, with Adam Peaty's mother and cousin criticising Netflix's documentary about Ramsay for allegedly cutting their speeches from the engagement party scene.
