Pete Sandiford, one half of the beloved Gogglebox sibling duo from Blackpool, recently enjoyed a family beach day with his wife Paige and their two children. Paige Sandiford, who works as an emergency services call handler, shared photos on Instagram of the family strolling along a sandy beach in September. She captioned the post: 'Capturing memories with my lovely family 💙 🌾 if only it was like this all the time.' Pete replied: 'Life’s a beach and then you marry one so I heard @paigesandiford_ 😜.'
Paige, formerly Yeomans, studied English language and linguistics at Queen Mary University of London. She and Pete married in May 2021, six months after Pete posted a photo calling her his 'Mrs'. Their first date, as Pete recalled on Gogglebox, was 'awkward' because a man he bought a beer for became their unwanted companion for the entire date. The couple have two children: son Jimmy, born in 2021, and daughter Eva, born in 2023.
Pete and his sister Sophie have appeared on Channel 4's Gogglebox since series 10 in 2017, known for their witty comments and decorative mugs. Sophie is in a relationship with Ben, whom she went Instagram official with in 2022. She has joked that Pete is 'jealous' of Ben's height. The siblings rarely mention their parents on the show, but their mother Julie has appeared on Sophie's Instagram, and their father is named Paul. Pete and Sophie are great-nieces and nephews of Paul and Barry, the Chuckle Brothers.
