Gogglebox star Georgia Bell has announced her engagement to boyfriend Josh Newby after a romantic boat trip proposal in Dubai. The 25-year-old hairdresser shared the news on Instagram with a glowing diamond ring, writing: '14.10.25 YES YES YES!! Officially in our fiancé era. A memory to remember for a lifetime.'
Josh, dressed in a blue and white striped shirt and pale shorts, got down on one knee as Georgia wore a white mini dress and sunglasses. The couple shared a hug and their first kiss as an engaged pair. Georgia and Josh have been together since 2018 and have two sons, Hugh, born July 2022, and Ralphie, born November 2024.
Georgia's Gogglebox co-stars were quick to congratulate her. Ellie Warner wrote: 'Congratulations wonderful news.' Jenny and Lee added: 'Congratulations to you both wow great news much love to ya xx.' Izzi Warner commented: 'Aww lovely news congratulations.' The Malone family said: 'Such lovely news, congratulations to you all.'
In August, Georgia shared a bittersweet update as her maternity leave ended, describing motherhood as 'an absolute rollercoaster' and expressing gratitude for her 'perfect little family.' She often films Gogglebox with her children present, telling the Daily Star: 'It's good fun having the kids with me. But sometimes it is chaos.'
Georgia looks forward to her children being able to watch the footage in future, saying: 'In years to come, I'll be like, "Sit down boys, this is you two when you were so young."'
