Gogglebox star Andrew has opened up about finding love again at 60, following a period of loss and heartache. The reality TV personality, who joined the Channel 4 show alongside husband Alfie in 2024, shared an emotional video on Instagram reflecting on his journey.
In the video, Andrew said: “I genuinely thought that my love story was over at 60. I’d been through some loss and I was tired in a way that sleep doesn’t help it. I wasn’t looking for anything big, just maybe peace and a quieter life.”
He continued: “And then somebody walked into my life that made me laugh, made me laugh properly like I’d never laughed before. That’s when I realised that love doesn’t disappear it just waits until you’re ready again. 60 it turns out wasn’t the end. It was just the beginning.”
Andrew and Alfie, who have a 30-year age gap, married in a picturesque ceremony in Italy in May 2024. The couple have become fan favourites on Gogglebox, known for their witty remarks and playful banter.
Fans rallied around Andrew following his post, with comments such as: “So happy for both of you, love seeing you on Gogglebox!” and “I am beyond happy that love did find you again.” The couple also share a dog named Perkins, who has appeared on the show.
