GMB's Andi Peters turns 56 as fans say he never ages

Good Morning Britain's Andi Peters marked his 56th birthday on Wednesday, July 29, during the ITV programme. Presenters Kate Garraway and Richard Madeley led the well-wishes as the competition host celebrated his special day.

Fans react to Andi Peters' youthful looks

Viewers were quick to comment on Peters' age-defying appearance. One fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter, 'He looks the same as his children BBC presenting days,' adding that the television personality 'does not look' his age. Another quipped, 'I'm absolutely convinced that Andi Peters is a vampire - never ages.'

A third viewer remarked, 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY @andipeters wishing you a great day! I can't believe you're 5 years younger than me but look 25 years younger.' On Facebook, one user posted, 'Happy birthday to the man who never ages,' while another added, 'Hope you have a wonderful day.'

Birthday cake and on-air celebrations

To mark the occasion, Good Morning Britain presented Peters with a large cake shaped like a red telephone, reflecting his role hosting competitions on the show. He cut into it to reveal a chocolate cake and began slicing it for colleagues. Kate Garraway and Richard Madeley, still at their desk, joked about wanting a piece, with Kate requesting a slice that included part of 'the dial'.

Peters' ageless appearance has long been a talking point. In 2020, when he turned 50, numerous celebrities commented, including Holly Willoughby, who wrote on social media: 'That can't be right? He looks about 21! Happy Birthday you gorgeous man!'

The broadcaster has been a familiar face on television for decades, launching his career in the 1980s. In 1989, the BBC appointed him as a presenter for The Broom Cupboard, taking over from Phillip Schofield and Andy Crane. Good Morning Britain airs on ITV from 6am.
