Loose Women panellist GK Barry, real name Grace Keeling, has revealed she begged Coleen Rooney for football help during a training camp for Soccer Aid. The 26-year-old, who went viral for missing a pass from Tom Grennan while celebrating on the pitch, cornered Coleen at the event. “She didn’t give me any tips but she did just say, ‘Think of the bar afterwards.’ I just thought, ‘That’s a great way to think about it.’ And I did,” GK told the Mirror.
World Cup Viewing and Football Skills
With the World Cup in full swing, GK admits she excels at watching matches from her sofa with prosecco. After England’s 2-1 victory over DR Congo, she said, “Thank God for Harry Kane.” Her girlfriend, Millwall player Ella Rutherford, 26, has not tried to educate her about football, calling her a “lost cause.” GK said, “I’ll be in the stands supporting the wife, doing the Cha-Cha-Cha. My wife has signed for Millwall, it’s a gorgeous day to be alive.”
Rise to Fame and TV Roles
GK rose to fame on TikTok while at university in Nottingham, using her initials and a borrowed surname. She launched the Saving Grace podcast and now stars in the Netflix thriller Missing You as Vanessa ‘Twinkle Toes.’ “I was a foot cam girl. No words, just feet. Happy to be there,” she said. She also investigated the controversial forum Tattle Life in her documentary Toxic Gossip, knocking on founder Sebastian Bond’s door. “I knocked on his front door. I was like the Royal Mail, it was terrifying. He obviously didn’t answer the door,” she recalled.
Loose Women and I'm a Celebrity
GK joined Loose Women in 2024, becoming the youngest panellist in its 25-year history. Despite an ITV schedule change reducing the show to 30 weeks a year, she vowed to stay “as long as they want me.” That same year, she finished fifth on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, where Coleen Rooney was runner-up. She remains in touch with castmates including Rev Richard Coles and Melvin Odoom.
Hangover Recovery and Tropicana Campaign
GK admitted her drinking days are numbered due to severe hangovers. “Now I wake up in the morning feeling like there may possibly be a need for a drip. I think I’m going to have to retire at 40,” she said. She is fronting Tropicana’s Recover Like A Pro campaign for its new Hydrate+ drink, a mix of pineapple juice and coconut water. “Who better to front this campaign than me? I have tried some wild recovery hacks over the years,” she added.
