Geri Horner's daughter Bluebell has followed in her famous mum's footsteps by taking to the stage for a secret charity gig in London.
The 20-year-old university student is said to have performed at an intimate event at Piano Smithfield alongside friends from university, with the gig raising money for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.
A Musical Inheritance
Bluebell, whose dad is screenwriter Sacha Gervasi, is currently studying English Literature at university and has reportedly developed a love of music alongside her studies. Despite showing off her vocal talents, the teenager-turned-student is not said to have any plans to launch a career in music.
"Just like her mum, Bluebell has a keen ear for music and has really enjoyed getting on stage," the source said. "Rather than wanting to be a star in her own right, Bluebell teamed up with some of her pals to put on a charity gig and she did a warm-up show at their student bar ahead of that."
The source added to the Sun that the concert "went down really well" but that the 20-year-old has "no plans to become a singer" and is "more focused on marketing".
Life in the Spotlight
Bluebell's mum Geri, 54, shot to global fame as Ginger Spice in the Spice Girls before going on to forge a successful solo career. It appears her daughter has inherited some of her musical interests, although Bluebell seems keen to keep her talents as more of a hobby for now.
Geri shares her eldest child with Sacha, with whom she had a relationship in 2005. She later married former Formula 1 boss Christian Horner in 2015, and the couple share nine-year-old son Monty. Christian has also played an important role in Bluebell's life, with Geri recently revealing that he had formally adopted her following a difficult relationship between Bluebell and her biological father.
The teenager has largely stayed away from the spotlight despite growing up surrounded by famous faces. Her godmother is Victoria Beckham, Geri's former Spice Girls bandmate, while the late George Michael is her godfather. Bluebell was spotted mingling with celebrities at this year's BRIT Awards in Manchester, but she has otherwise kept a relatively low key life while studying.
Finding Her Own Lane
Geri previously opened up about watching her daughter become more independent during an appearance on Jessie Ware's Table Manners podcast. Speaking about Bluebell leaving home for university, she said: "It's amazing to watch them thrive and find their own lane."
And it seems Bluebell is doing exactly that, with her latest musical outing allowing her to enjoy the stage while keeping her future firmly focused away from the spotlight.
Geri shot to fame in 1996 when her girl group Spice Girls released their debut album. That album celebrates its 30th anniversary this year and fans were hoping for a reunion, especially after the band teased that something was coming up for the milestone.
