Married At First Sight Australia star Tahnee Cook has announced her split from Ollie Skelton, just 16 months after the couple met on the reality show. The 27-year-old shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday, telling her 250,000 followers that 'sometimes relationships just don't work out.'
Tahnee and Ollie, 26, were matched by MAFS dating coaches who predicted compatibility despite their differing levels of extroversion. However, the couple struggled to maintain their marriage after filming ended and have now gone their separate ways on amicable terms.
In a lengthy statement, Tahnee wrote: 'Just as I share the highlights of my life on here, it’s only fair for me to share when things aren’t always fun. Sadly, Ollie and I have decided to part ways. Our lives are taking us in different directions and we feel at this stage it’s the best decision for us.'
