Gemma Collins loses nearly a stone in a week ahead of three weddings

Former 'The Only Way is Essex' star Gemma Collins has lost nearly a stone in a week following a new health regime, just months before her three planned weddings to fiancé Rami Hawash. The 43-year-old reality star shared her progress with fans on Instagram, saying she was 'reduced to tears' when she stepped on the scales.

Collins, who got engaged to businessman Hawash during a holiday in the Maldives earlier this year, has enlisted the help of bodybuilder Eddie Abbew and his daughter, 'Fat Adapting chef' Selina. Together they have created a programme focusing on high-protein, whole foods, cutting out sugar and overly processed items, without vigorous exercise.

'I'm in shock,' Collins said on Instagram after losing 13.8 pounds in a week. 'No vigorous exercise, no training for 8 hours a day.' She added that she ate 'nuts, feta, eggs, meat, and avocado' and never felt hungry. Her trainer Eddie Abbew noted that the diet also reduces meal frequency and avoids fruit to keep insulin levels low.

Collins is planning three wedding celebrations: one in the UK, one abroad, and a formal event for friends and family. The weddings are likely to take place in 2026, when Hawash turns 50 and an astrologer advised it would be the luckiest time to marry. The star has since lost a total of 20 pounds and said she doesn't want to be 'stick thin', just healthy.
