Gemma Collins has expressed her disapproval of Simon Cowell's treatment of his former girlfriend Sinitta, following a heart-to-heart conversation in the I'm A Celebrity camp. The exchange, set to air tonight, saw Sinitta reveal details of her on-off romance with the X Factor boss.
During the discussion, Gemma noted that Sinitta has to go through two personal assistants and housekeepers just to get a message to Cowell. Sinitta agreed, adding that he will call her when he fancies. Reflecting in the Bush Telegraph, Gemma stated that if someone treated her that way, she would block them and remove them from her Christmas card list.
The friendly conversation marked a contrast to the previous day, when the pair clashed over the musical Chicago. Sinitta questioned Gemma's involvement in the production, suggesting the announcement of her role seemed like a joke. Gemma defended herself, citing an injury and insisting she auditioned and earned the part fairly.
Following the clash, Gemma took to Instagram to share an old clip in which she is heard saying, “Everyone that ever doubted me, said I was never gonna be anything... f*** you.” She captioned it: “Never let people tell your a JOKE. I’ve been through thousands of trials and tribulations to get where I am today.”
Fellow campmates Seann Walsh and Scarlett Moffatt listened to the conversation and appeared visibly shocked by Sinitta's comments.
