Gemma Collins and Sinitta Feud Escalates Off Air After I'm a Celeb Row

The bitter row between Gemma Collins and Sinitta that played out on I'm a Celeb South Africa has spilled off-screen, with the former TOWIE star posting a video message telling doubters to 'f*** you'. The feud erupted during the pre-recorded series when Sinitta said she assumed Collins's casting in West End show Chicago was a joke.

In the episode, Sinitta told Collins: 'I'm sorry, but when I heard you were going to do it, I thought it was a joke announcement.' She added: 'You'd just presented something at an awards show and fell off the stage. It was like you were more of a comedian.' Fellow campmate Scarlett Moffatt was seen mouthing to Seann Walsh: 'What is happening?'

Responding on social media, Collins posted a video saying: 'Anyone who ever doubted me, said I was never going to be anything... f*** you.' She added: 'Never let people tell you're a JOKE. I've been through thousands of trials and tribulations to get where I am today.' Jedward, Collins's X Factor pals, also weighed in, writing: 'What Sinitta said was unkind and hurtful!'

Sinitta defended herself, saying the friendly parts of their conversation were edited out. She said: 'I didn't call her a joke, I said I thought the announcement was a joke at the time as I had not been aware that she sang and danced. There was lots of gossip in Theatreland when she didn't do the show.' Sinitta added: 'I gave her a chance to tell her side from the horse's mouth. That is not rude, it's called conversations.'
