Gemma Atkinson has revealed that her fiancé Gorka Marquez gave a blunt 'no' when she jokingly suggested having a third child. The actress, who shares two children with the Strictly Come Dancing professional, said she raised the topic as a test while they were in bed.
Speaking in a video clip, Atkinson recalled: 'I said to Gorka the other day just as a test while we were in bed and I went: "Gorka, would it really be a no to another baby? What would you do if I wanted another baby?" And he just went: "Absolutely not, Gemma". Like point blank no, no more.' She laughed as she described his deadpan response, comparing him to Rocky character Ivan Drago.
The couple welcomed their second child, son Thiago, last July, and have previously stated their family is complete. Atkinson confirmed this stance while breastfeeding, saying: 'I know it's the last time feeding for me as we're done on the baby front.'
Despite ruling out more children, Atkinson is enjoying motherhood, telling HELLO! magazine: 'Oh, I'm loving it. It's just going so fast... It's obviously chaotic and you're tired at the same time but it's so wonderful as well.'
Their daughter Mia, six, is reportedly thriving as a big sister, with Atkinson adding: 'She's like a mother hen; she's obsessed with him. She mucks in helping with the nappies... I just love the fact that she's so into him.'
