Gary and Wayne Lineker appear to have reconciled after a 17-year rift, as the former England footballer attended his niece Tia's lavish wedding in Majorca at the weekend. The brothers, who have barely spoken for nearly two decades, were seen together in a striking new photo that has since gone viral.
Gary, 64, cut a sharp figure in a cream linen suit and designer sunglasses as he stood among the guests, watching Wayne, 58, walk his daughter down the aisle. Tia married Harry Agombar in a ceremony that spared no expense, with the bride captioning snaps of the party: 'Mr & Mrs Agombar 10.08.25.'
The siblings' feud reportedly started after Wayne did not get on with Gary's then-wife Danielle Bux, whom Gary married in 2009 and divorced in 2016. In 2015, Wayne told The Sun: 'Gary is no longer a part of my life.' He blamed an awkward first encounter with Danielle in Ibiza in 2008, saying: 'I didn't spark with Danielle and our relationship was cold.'
The brothers had previously reunited in June for Gary's son Harry's wedding in Ibiza, where they also wore similar linen suits and were seen drinking together. Wayne had reached out in November 2024, sharing nostalgic snapshots on Instagram and writing: 'Gary and I share the most incredible memories... I know for a fact that they will be looking down on us with one wish. That would be to become proper brothers again. #lifestooshort.'
At the weekend's wedding, Wayne commented on Tia's post: 'Incredible my princess. Best day ever .. love from the father of the bride.' The reconciliation suggests the brothers have finally put their differences aside.
