Jeff Brazier has promised to keep Jade Goody’s memory alive after becoming a grandfather. His youngest son Freddy, 21, and girlfriend Holly Swinburn welcomed their first child, a daughter named Isla Jade, honouring Freddy’s late mother.
The TV presenter, 46, shared a heartfelt Instagram post with hospital snaps, including son Bobby, 22. He wrote to Isla Jade: 'Mummy and Daddy gave you her name, and we’re going to tell you all about her.' He added that she is 'the greatest gift' and thanked Freddy and Holly.
Freddy and Holly announced the birth on Holly’s Instagram Story. The couple had briefly split in November 2025 but reconciled before the baby’s arrival. Freddy told The Sun that naming his daughter Jade as a first name felt 'too much expectation' so they used it as a middle name.
Goody died of cervical cancer on March 22, 2009 – Mother’s Day that year – aged 27. Freddy was four at the time, Bobby five. Jeff had previously marked Mother’s Day with a poignant post about holding grief and gratitude as they awaited the new arrival.
