Freddy Brazier, the 21-year-old son of the late Jade Goody, has confirmed that he and his on-off girlfriend Holly Swinburn are currently not speaking, just months after the birth of their daughter Isla Jade. The couple, who welcomed their baby in March, have reportedly split again following a family row involving Freddy's grandmother, Jackiey Budden.
Speaking to the Mirror, Freddy said: 'Yeah, Holly and I aren't talking right now. We're not speaking at the moment. There's no bad blood at all, I just need some space, we both need space. I can't speak for Holly, but I just need to work on myself right now.' The couple met on TikTok in June last year and announced their pregnancy two months later, but split in November after Freddy allegedly partied with girls at Holly's home while she was on holiday.
Earlier this year, Freddy vowed to be the 'best dad he can be', but he later moved out of their home and travelled to Gran Canaria after Holly reportedly denied Jackiey permission to meet Isla Jade. A source told The Sun: 'Holly loves Isla Jade and is taking motherhood really seriously but Freddy is not the same - despite all the 'happy family pictures' they posted together on social media.' The couple briefly reconciled but their relationship remained strained, with Jackiey previously pushing for a paternity test, which confirmed Freddy as the father.
Freddy also spoke about missing his mother, Jade Goody, who died of cervical cancer on Mother's Day in 2009 when he was just four years old. He told The Sun: 'I've often looked at people out with their mums on Mother's Day and thought, 'You're so lucky... I wish I could have a special day with my mum'. But now, I'll be able to make new memories with my baby daughter.' He added that he sometimes talks to his mother's headstone about becoming a father.
