Freddy Brazier, the 21-year-old son of the late Jade Goody, is desperate to have his dog Pablo returned after the pocket bully mauled him, leaving a 3cm hole in his arm. The dog was seized by police and could now be destroyed.
Freddy described the attack as 'terrifying' and said he could not feel anything in his right arm until he saw blood coming out of his tracksuit. He opened it to see a 3cm hole. He received emergency hospital treatment.
Dog attacked grandmother first
This was not the first incident involving Pablo. On July 16, police and fire brigade were called to Jackiey Budden's home by a concerned neighbour after the dog gripped onto Freddy's grandmother. A source said it was not too serious and no charges were pursued. However, a few days later the incident repeated and was worse. Freddy returned to get Pablo but the dog was still frenzied, causing severe injury.
Freddy went to A&E immediately but discharged himself complaining of long waiting times. He was forced to return the next day for significant treatment and remained in hospital overnight.
Freddy's plea
Freddy told The Sun: 'I want my dog back, but my nan has told me that he can't go back to her house, and my dad won't have him at his house. I have never seen him as my dog — he's like my son. He's in police kennels and I'm probably not going to see my dog again.'
The source added: 'It's been a shocking few days... Freddy went to A&E immediately, but discharged himself after complaining that the waiting time was too long. But yesterday he was forced to return and his injuries couldn't be ignored. He was still in hospital at night receiving significant treatment.'
Dog's history
Pablo reportedly played a role in the breakdown of Freddy's relationship with ex-girlfriend Holly Swinburn. The couple welcomed daughter Isla Jade in March this year before splitting soon after, with previous reports claiming Holly had tried to convince Freddy to get rid of the dog during a heated argument.
