Frankie Bridge has sparked concern among fans after revealing that her depression has 'crept up' on her again. The 35-year-old Loose Women star and former Saturdays singer shared a candid post on Instagram, describing feelings of being 'unmotivated' and 'low'.
In her post, Bridge explained that she had been trying to share her struggles to encourage others to open up. She thanked fans for their support and outlined steps she took to feel better, including spending time with loved ones, resting, getting fresh air, and moving her body.
Bridge has been open about her past battles with anxiety and depression. In the book 'Open: Why Asking For Help Can Save Your Life', she wrote about suffering from 'stress, low moods, sadness and anxiety' for as long as she could remember. She previously tried antidepressants, which she said did not work.
In 2021, during her time on 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!', Bridge spoke about feeling unhappy despite having a loving marriage and successful career. She said her desire to have children motivated her to seek help and recover.
Bridge ended her latest post by asking followers to share their own tips for coping with low moods, hoping it might help others.
