Fifi Geldof Ends Marriage and Begins New Romance with Model

Fifi Geldof, the eldest daughter of musician Bob Geldof and the late television presenter Paula Yates, has officially separated from her husband Andrew Robertson. The personal assistant, who recently celebrated her 43rd birthday, has moved on with a new partner, model Jon Paul Phillips.

Birthday Celebrations Reveal New Relationship

The couple were first spotted together at Fifi's birthday party on March 31st, and again the following day as she walked through Knightsbridge without her wedding ring. This public appearance confirmed speculation about her relationship status, following her removal of the surname 'Robertson' from her Instagram profile, where she now goes simply by Fifi Geldof.

A source close to the couple told The Sun: "Fifi and JP are very much in love. She has gone through so much pain in her life and it is lovely to see her happy."

Lavish Birthday Surprise from New Beau

Fifi shared details of her boyfriend's generous birthday gift on social media, revealing he had booked a luxurious £1,300 per night apartment complete with private cinema room, bar and sauna. She posted: "Well this will do rather bloody nicely for the next few days. Lovely birthday surprise staycation from the even lovelier boyfriend."

Jon Paul Phillips, 46, is an English model and actor who appeared in the 2017 film Kept Boy and has worked with prestigious brands including Ralph Lauren. He comes from artistic lineage as the grandson of French film star Marika Rivera, known for her role in Fiddler On The Roof.

Marriage Background and Family History

Fifi married sculptor Andrew Robertson in 2016 at St Mary Magdalene and St Lawrence church in Kent. This same church holds poignant family significance, having hosted funeral services for both her mother Paula Yates and sister Peaches Geldof.

The Sun reports that Andrew has also moved on with a new partner following the separation.

Tragic Family Legacy

The Geldof family has experienced profound tragedy over the years. Paula Yates died from a heroin overdose in 2000 on September 17th, which coincided with her daughter Pixie's 10th birthday. At the time, Fifi was just 17 years old.

Following Paula's death, her youngest daughter Tiger Lily was fostered by Bob Geldof to grow up with her half-sisters Fifi, Peaches and Pixie. Tiger Lily's father, INXS lead singer Michael Hutchence, had died in 1997 when she was only one year old.

In 2014, tragedy struck again when Peaches Geldof died at age 25 from a heroin overdose. Fifi paid tribute to her sister on social media, sharing a childhood photograph with the caption: "My beautiful baby sister... Gone but never forgotten. I love you, Peaches x"

Bob Geldof expressed his grief publicly, saying: "Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child."

He continued: "How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is. Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken."
