Around 70 fans queued from as early as 8:15am on Tuesday, June 30, at Liverpool ONE for exclusive My Chemical Romance merchandise ahead of the band's The Black Parade Tour show at Anfield tonight. The pop-up shop, located inside the Liverpool FC Store on South John Street, has been open since Sunday and will close at 8pm today.
Exclusive Items and Prices
Among the sought-after items are the Big Ben Dictator T-shirt (£40), The Black Parade vintage T-shirt (£40), and The Black Parade grey hoodie (£75). A special black European tour zip-up hoodie (£75), featuring the band's 2026 European tour dates on the back, is also available.
Early Birds and Dedicated Fans
When the ECHO visited at around 9:15am, the queue had already formed. At the front were Orla Moyles, 14, and her mother Nikki, 53, who travelled from Ireland for the concert. They arrived at 8:15am after missing out on merchandise the previous day. Orla said she was excited to see her favourite artist live, while Nikki noted, "[My Chemical Romance] aren't coming to Ireland this time, so there were quite a few people on the plane wearing MCR T-shirts." She added, "We came yesterday evening to get a small T-shirt, but they had sold out, so we came back this morning. If all else fails, we'll queue again at Anfield."
Also queuing were Fran, 30, Phoebe, 31, CJ, 25, and Eben, 25, from Birmingham. Having never seen My Chemical Romance before the band split in 2013, they looked forward to "getting to be teenagers again." Fran hoped to buy a vinyl record, while Phoebe aimed for the grey tour T-shirt and pop-up exclusives. Phoebe said, "We're excited for all of it. Tears will be shed, but the rain will disguise it." Fran added, "I like it when they do pop-up shops before the gig. It's much more accessible."
Local Fan's First Concert
Selina, 28, from Liverpool, has been a fan since her teenage years but has never seen the band perform live. She said, "I've never been to an MCR concert. I was surprised they're doing one here, so this might be my only chance to see them." She particularly hopes to hear Helena and to buy the grey tour T-shirt, which reportedly sold out yesterday.
Pop-Up Shop Opening Times
The My Chemical Romance pop-up store in the Liverpool FC Store at Liverpool ONE is open on Tuesday, June 30 (show day) from 9:30am to 8pm. Fans can also buy merchandise from the Anfield Store at the stadium from 9am to 11:30pm.
Concert Details
While the band has not officially confirmed tonight's setlist, they are widely expected to perform The Black Parade album in full. Their most recent show at Sonic Temple 2026 also featured fan favourites including I'm Not Okay (I Promise), Helena, Na Na Na, and Vampire Money. Liverpool legends Echo & the Bunnymen will open the show before My Chemical Romance take the stage.
